Got SoPE?

In January 2011, several doctors (that's me on the left and Dr. Jeff Hausfeld on the right), Dr. Steve Levine, and a medical association executive, Jim Blakely (middle), created the Society of Physician Entrepreneurs (SoPE). We did it for one basic reason- to address the need for doctors and other health professionals to have a place to help them get their ideas to patients. Judging from the growth of our membership and social media presence, folks seem to like the idea. April 25th marks the remembrance of Jim's untimely death.

The Society is an international, non-profit, open, biomedical and clinical innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem offering education and access to resources, networks, experience, mentors, peer support and non-clinical career guidance.

Our vision is to close global health inequities. Our mission is to help members help other members get their ideas to patients.
